Mahogany is a bold seedling forced to leave her home when bulldozers mow it down. Running from the rainforest Mahogany is determined to listen to her mother and find a safe place to root. It is only when she finally reaches safety that she realizes maybe running isn’t what we she is meant for, perhaps it was always her destiny to stand her ground the tallest tree in the rainforest.
With her three seedling friends, a frightened orchid, a sly venus flytrap going through an identity crisis, and a know it all palm tree, the four seedlings do their best to find a new home and in the end, save the one they had all along.

MAHOGANY
Species: Mahogany Tree
The perfectionist is looking for the perfect place to root, but nothing is ever good enough. As the trees are felled around her, she struggles to become a more accepting leader and find a way for all plants to survive.
HUE
Species: Orchid
The orchid is alone after his mother is taken by the bulldozer driver as a present for his daughter Marguerite. Hue is reluctant to travel, and his fears and vulnerability leave the rest of the team constantly rescuing him from harm.
PALMER
Species: Palm Tree
A pompous coconut palm, educated by years of humans chatting under the shade of his family’s palm grove, until the grove was cut down for a better penthouse view. Palmer informs the team on the ways of the world.
DIONA
Species: Venus Fly Trap
The Venus flytrap suffers from imposter syndrome. She pretends to be a beautiful plant but must be a vicious carnivore to survive. She has secretly made a pact with the weeds to take over the forests of the world.
